After 3 weeks, Al -Houthi admits the death of children with a “fatal injection”

The Houthi militia revealed that ten cancer patients had been harmed by smuggled and expired medications more than three weeks after the occurrence.
Reliable medical and media sources said that more than 18 of the 45 children who received injections died as a result of the incident, which caused great public outcry.

The unrecognised Houthi rebel government announced on Thursday that “ten children with blood cancer between the ages of 3 and 15 years” had died.
Additionally, the Houthi Ministry stated that “19 infants were administered smuggled medications at Kuwait Hospital in Sana’a,” adding that “the investigation’s findings revealed bacterial pollution in the drug packages utilised.”

The Houthi militia is famous for using the areas under its control as a market for illegal and dishonest drugs, which its leadership supervises and reaps great financial rewards from through drug smuggling and trafficking that jeopardises the lives of thousands of patients.

Since its takeover, the militia has increased its grip on the drug trade, dominating the drug market and providing and distributing drugs through businesses that are connected to it and are under the direction of Houthi commanders.
The Yemeni Organization for Combating Human Trafficking accused the Ministry of Health, which is subject to the Houthi militia in Sanaa, of dispensing a dose of expired medicines after changing the expiration date, causing the death and injury of dozens of children with cancer.

International organisations demanded that the field descend to Kuwait Hospital and an investigation into the matter, and stressed the need to reveal and prosecute those involved, while the Houthi authorities in Sana’a accused the cover-up of the crime and preventing the publication of any information about it.

After three weeks, Al-Houthi acknowledges that “fatal injections” caused the deaths of children.
