Today … the Palestinian factions signed the “Algiers Declaration” to achieve unity between them

The “Declaration of Algeria” is the culmination of the “Revival for the sake of establishing Palestinian unity,” which Algeria has accepted as of today for a duration of two days.
According to a statement from the Algerian presidency, Abdel Majid Taboun, the president of Algeria, met with the Palestinian groups taking part in the conference’s activities today at the conference’s headquarters in Algiers.

The purpose of Taboun’s visit to the representatives of the Palestinian factions present at this meeting, according to the statement, is to support their efforts in achieving a common objective.
The Algerian presidency added that the “Declaration of Algeria” will be a solid land to achieve unity between the various Palestinian factions, which achieved an unprecedented consensus during this conference.

For their part, the conference attendees acknowledged their gratitude for Algeria’s efforts and contribution to the Palestinian reunification, particularly in the lead-up to the Arab Summit, which will be held in Algeria in early November and be one of its key axes.

The Algerian president had previously stated in a conversation with several local media outlets that his nation acknowledged the Palestine Liberation Organization as the sole and legitimate representative of the Palestinian people, emphasising that “the independence of the State of Palestine will not be achieved without unity and without unification of ranks.”

The “Algiers Declaration,” intended to bring the various Palestinian groups together, was signed today.
