The French President, Emmanuel Macron, expressed his strong belief that negotiations between Russia and Ukraine will continue in order to produce a solution that will satisfy both parties. He emphasised that negotiations are in both parties’ best interests and that they do not entail Ukraine giving up any of its lands.
On the “France 2” television station, Macron declared that it would be in both Russia and Ukraine’s best interests to resume negotiations.

“A big portion of it has been dedicated for the battle in Ukraine, that France will give Ukraine with anti-aircraft defence systems,” Macron continued during his interview with the broadcast on France 2.
Vladimir Putin of Russia, according to French President Emmanuel, should reengage in talks. During the interview, he said: “Putin must, above all, end this war, recognise the unity of Ukraine, and go back to the negotiating table.
The French President affirms that Ukraine is interested in holding talks with Russia.
