The Russian government declared that it will collaborate with the Moroccan government to develop a nuclear power station on Moroccan territory and to use atomic energy for peaceful reasons.
The government stated – in a press statement, today, Wednesday, that the project of this agreement will include the construction of a nuclear power plant on Moroccan lands and cooperation in the field of using atomic energy for peaceful purposes.
She noted that instructions had been given to the Russian company “Rosatom” and the Russian Foreign Ministry to hold talks with Moroccan partners and the signing of an agreement when reaching a final agreement. She confirmed the ratification of the draught government agreement, which was submitted by the Russian company “Rosatom” in coordination with the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, related to the agreement with Morocco.
