Lebanese Ministry of Health: Register the first death of cholera and 8 new injuries

The Lebanese Ministry of Health reported that the first cholera fatality to be reported in the nation since October 5th, along with the confirmation that 8 additional cases of the disease’s injuries had been reported, bringing the total to 26.
This information was contained in a Ministry of Health report on the cholera outbreak in Lebanon.

The ministry explained that the cases are concentrated in the north of the country, specifically in the Akkar region, where 11 cases appeared in Rihaniya, 7 in Arsal, 2 in Benin, 2 in Saadine, a case in Al -Huwaish, a case in Halaba, and a case in Al -Mahmoud.
On October 5, Lebanon experienced its first cholera injury since 1993. The Prime Minister conducted two meetings yesterday and today to discuss strategies to combat the disease.

The first cholera death has been reported in Lebanon, along with eight additional injuries.
