Canada announces new military aid to Ukraine with $ 34 million

Canada announced, on Wednesday evening, that it has provided new military support to Ukraine worth 47 million Canadian dollars (34 million US dollars), to counter the Russian invasion. Artillery rounds, satellite communication devices, cold clothing, drones with high-resolution cameras, and other aid are examples of aid.

Anita Anand, the defence secretary for Canada, stated that since the Russian invasion started on February 24, $600 million has been given to Ukraine.
Today, on Wednesday, more than 50 Western nations gathered to discuss how to give Ukraine more weapons, particularly for its air defences, in response to Russia’s heaviest missile attacks since the conflict began.

The Russian attacks, which used more than 100 rockets, have killed at least 26 people across Ukraine since Monday, when Russian President Vladimir Putin ordered what he called retaliatory attacks on Ukraine for bombing a Russian bridge.
According to the Canadian Minister of Defense, the most recent Canadian help contains fifteen pieces of equipment.

2 million Canadian dollars worth of supplies from the Canadian Armed Forces, including 155 mm NATO-compliant artillery ammunition, champions, and transport bags for the Hottz Light Field Defender (M777).
400,000 winter clothes worth a combined $ 15 million in Canadian dollars and $ 15. 3 million in additional specialist drones are also included.

Canada says it would provide $34 million in fresh military aid to Ukraine.
