Saudi Foreign Minister: efforts to extend the truce in Yemen are still in place

In an interview with Al-Arabiya and Al-Hadath, Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan stated that any agreement with Iran must take into account regional security.
Any nuclear agreement with Iran should take into account the drawbacks of the prior pact, the Saudi Foreign Minister underlined.

Regarding the Yemeni case, Faisal bin Farhan emphasised that efforts are still being made to extend the cease-fire in Yemen by the Kingdom, the alliance, and the Yemeni government.
In another context, the Saudi Foreign Minister stressed the importance of finding means to halt the conflict by stating that the war in Ukraine has serious economic repercussions for the entire world.

According to Prince Faisal bin Farhan, “the OPEC Plus decision is simply economic and was taken by the consensus of the member states” in terms of the economics. “The OPEC Plus countries performed responsibly and made the right decision,” he continued.
“OPEC Plus countries strive to stabilise the market and advance producers’ and consumers’ interests,” he continued.

The connection with Washington, he continued, “is a strategy and support for the security and stability of the area.
According to the Saudi Foreign Minister, military cooperation between Riyadh and Washington serves both nations’ interests and promotes regional stability. Since the two nations’ connection was established, our relationship with the US has become institutionalised.

Yemen’s cease-fire extension attempts are still ongoing, according to the Saudi Foreign Minister.
