Al-Madina News: At the World Masters Championship in Bulgaria’s conclusion today, Saturday, Jordanian player Captain Saleh Zureikat took home the gold medal.
After achieving the first victory over the Kazakhstan champion, the second victory over the Uzbekistan champion, and his semi-final victory over the Hungarian player, Zureikat increased his score in this competition to two medals. He then went on to play the American champion in the final and overtake him with a well-deserved victory to win gold.
By capturing four silver and two gold medals from the national team champions, Captain Yahya Abu Tabikh and Captain Saleh Al Zureikat, Jordan was able to accomplish a tremendous feat in freestyle and Roman wrestling.
The Jordanian wrestling team’s second gold medal is won by Zureikat.
