Vehicle hit by gunfire in ‘targeted’ shooting, man dead on scene: Laval police

In the Saint-François neighbourhood of Laval, a shooting resulted in the death of a man.
According to Laval Police, shots were fired at roughly 11:20 p.m. on Friday.
Const. Stephanie Beshara of the Laval Police reported that “several calls were made to 911 for gunfire.”
Beshara claims that when police got on the site, they discovered a car that had been shot at.
They discovered a wounded 31-year-old man inside the car.

The man allegedly had multiple resuscitation attempts from police, but he was pronounced dead at the site.
Police didn’t know the man, according to Beshara, but they have cause to think the killing wasn’t a random act.
Beshara said, “It’s too early in the investigation to tell why he was targeted.
So far, no one has been arrested.
In an effort to comprehend what transpired, police are speaking with witnesses.
