Ronaldo scores his 700th goal in his professional career with clubs

Cristiano Ronaldo, a striker for Portugal’s national team, scored his 700th goal in his professional career on Sunday, giving Manchester United a 2-1 lead at Everton in the tenth round of the English Premier League.

After French winger Anthony Martial suffered an injury, Ronaldo, who has won the Golden Ball five times as the best player in the world, entered the game as a substitute in the 29th minute. It took him just 14 minutes to score with a powerful shot from inside the box that Jordan Pickford blocked following a pass from his former Real Madrid teammate.

Brazilian international Casemiro made his “Red Devils” debut after signing from the Royal Club during the summer transfers.
It is Ronaldo’s (37 years old) first league goal this year, bringing his total number of goals scored while wearing the Manchester United uniform to 144. This is the second time in his professional career that he has done so.
The Don amassed 450 goals with Real Madrid, 101 goals with Juventus of Italy, and five goals with Sporting Portugal, his first team.

In his professional soccer career with teams, Ronaldo scores his 700th goal.
