In different states around the United States, there were 26,577 instances of monkeypox, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in the United States.
The centre stated in a statement released today, Sunday, that the highest of instances was 5,139 in California alone, with Florida coming in second with 2,572 cases, New York State third with 3,984 cases, Texas fourth with 2,410 cases, and Georgia fifth with 1,839 cases.
In a report on the complete distribution of the first and second monkeypox vaccination doses, the American Center for Diseases said that 873,552 doses had been given out to stop the disease’s spread, noting that individuals who received the shots included people over the age of 18.
Over 26,000 confirmed cases of monkeypox have been reported in the United States.
