Ukraine claims Crimea bridge explosion, says it’s only the beginning

According to Russian news outlets citing the Russian National Anti-Terrorism Committee and mentioning that the roads on the bridge were destroyed, the fire that started on the Crimean Bridge was brought on by a vehicle bomb.
The committee reported that a car bomb went off this morning at 6:07 a.m. (307 GMT) on the Qurum bridge’s road segment, causing seven train tankers headed for Crimea to catch fire.

The adviser to the president of Ukraine called the Kerch Bridge explosion “the beginning” and insisted that “anything illegitimate must be removed.”
According to Russian authorities, a fire broke out on the vehicle bridge and the large railway connecting the Russian territory with the Ukrainian peninsula of Crimea, which Moscow has annexed.
A fuel truck “caught fire in the back of a train,” according to the Crimean Railways.

The bridge, which was constructed at considerable expense at Vladimir Putin’s direction, is primarily employed for the transportation of Russian military hardware to the Russian army engaged in battle in Ukraine.

Ukraine admits responsibility and asserts that this is just the beginning.
