The Algerian Federation announces the continuation of Djamel Belmadi with the Saharan warriors until 2026

Djahid Zvizef, president of the Algerian Federation, officially announced that Djamel Belmadi, the coach of the first team, will remain in his position until 2026, stressing that his country will submit a bid to organize the 2025 African Nations Cup between March and April of next year.
Zvezev spoke to Algerian radio, saying, “Belmadi decided last Ramadan to continue training the national team, and he will remain in his position until the 2026 World Cup.

The first team’s coach, Djamel Belmadi, will officially remain in his job until 2026, according to Algerian Federation President Djahid Zvizef, who also emphasised that his nation will submit a bid to host the 2025 African Nations Cup between March and April of the following year.
Belmadi elected last Ramadan to continue coaching the national squad, and Zvezev told Algerian radio that he will hold that role until the 2026 World Cup.

Due to Guinea’s lack of readiness, the Confederation of African Football (CAF) announced earlier that the organisation of the 2025 African Nations was pulled from Guinea.

The Algerian Federation declares that Djamel Belmadi will remain with the Saharan warriors through 2026.
