German railways: repairing technical failures and the continuing disruption of trains

The technical issue that today completely stopped all long-distance trains and partially halted the operation of medium-distance trains in the northern portion of the country has been fixed, according to the German railway firm Deutsche Bahn.
Today, Saturday, a company spokeswoman in Berlin stated that the disruption to train operations will last the entire day.

The business had earlier this morning reported that its public transportation trains in northern Germany were halted due to a technical issue with the trains’ wireless connectivity.
The incident, which also created issues with train travel in the states of North Rhine-Westphalia, Berlin, and Hesse, was recognised by the firm as affecting all regional express and regional rail lines in the vicinity of Lower Saxony and Bremen in particular.

The company stated on its website that there are now no long-distance travel choices to or from Hamburg, Schleswig-Holstein, Lower Saxony, Kassel-Wilhelmshoe, Berlin, and North Rhine-Westphalia.
The airline advised customers to check the latest information immediately before scheduled departures on the company’s website, mobile app, or by phone.
The business posted a statement on its website stating, “We will keep you updated here as soon as we obtain new information.”
