Blackstone to expand its European headquarters by moving to a new building in London

According to Bloomberg News, the American Blackstone Group has decided to relocate to a new, larger European headquarters in the British capital, London.
The company will inhabit a 226,000 square metre structure in Berkeley Square, and construction of the largest private equity firm building in the world is expected to be finished by 2028, according to a statement on Saturday.

British Prime Minister Liz Truss was quoted in the release as saying: “Blackstone stands behind the businesses that support tens of thousands of British jobs, and I am convinced that our growth plans will guarantee that we become the largest country to invest in and conduct business.”
Blackstone claimed that over the previous three years, the number of employees it employs in London has risen to over 500.

Blackstone will relocate to a new facility in London in order to expand its European headquarters.
