After Russia and Ukraine, Elon Musk offers a proposal to end the tension between China and Taiwan

The entrepreneur Elon Musk proposed that he could ease tensions between China and Taiwan by giving Beijing some power over Taiwan, days after proposing a possible solution to end the conflict between Russia and Ukraine that was denounced in Ukraine.
According to Musk, the richest man in the world, “my suggestion is to declare a special administrative region for Taiwan, which is relatively acceptable and probably won’t satisfy everyone.”

Musk made his remarks in answer to a media query regarding China, the country where his electric car company, Tesla, operates a sizable facility in Shanghai.
The publication quoted Musk as stating, “It’s feasible, and I think it’s possible, in reality, that they have a lot more forgiving setup than (in) Hong Kong.”
Musk stated that he thought a fight over Taiwan was unavoidable and foresaw its potential effects on not only Tesla but also Apple, the maker of the iPhones, and the economy as a whole.

Beijing has promised to annex Taiwan and hasn’t ruled out using force to do it. Beijing claims Taiwan is one of its provinces. Taiwan’s leadership vehemently rejects China’s assertions of sovereignty and maintains that only the 23 million people who call the island home can determine its future.

Musk asked Twitter users for their thoughts on his proposal last week and urged that Ukraine agree to become a neutral nation, irrevocably give Crimea to Russia, hold fresh UN-sponsored referendums to decide the fate of Russian-controlled regions, and hold new UN-sponsored referendums. Volodymyr Zelensky, the president of Ukraine, expressed his scathing disapproval of this.

Elon Musk has a suggestion to defuse the tension between China and Taiwan after Russia and the Ukraine.
