Zelensky’s spokesman clarifies his statement about his call for NATO to strike Russia

Sergei Nikiforov, the presidential spokesman for Ukraine, confirmed Vladimir Zelensky’s remarks in which he requested NATO to attack Russia first.
Nikiforov quotes Zelensky as saying: “My colleagues, you have come a long way in your nuclear frenzy, and now you hear nuclear strikes where there is nothing.” Zelensky did not support using nuclear weapons against Russia, according to Nikiforov.

“The president discussed the time frame up until February 24 when it was important to put precautionary measures in place to stop Russia from starting a conflict. Let me remind you that at that time, preventive sanctions were the sole actions being discussed.
According to Zelensky, NATO should hit Russia “pre-emptively” rather than “waiting for Russian nuclear strikes.”

The spokesperson for Zelensky clarifies his remarks regarding his demand that NATO attack Russia.
