According to Karen-Jean-Pierre, a spokesperson for the White House, there is no justification for the US to modify its nuclear posture.
The American “Al-Hurra” channel quoted Pierre as saying that she had no sign that Russia is getting ready to use nuclear weapons soon and that the Russians’ discussion about using nuclear weapons is reckless.
This occurs at a time when US President Joe Biden stated that the world hasn’t been this close to a “Apocalypse War” since the Cuban missile crisis because of Russian President Vladimir Putin’s threat to use nuclear weapons in Ukraine.
White House: There is no justification for the US to modify its nuclear position at this time.
