In a collision on a motorway in northern Italy, the bus driver and five individuals with impairments perished.
In a tweet posted to the social media platform “Twitter,” the fire department reported that a truck and minibus collided on Friday in the Veneto area.
One person was critically hurt but survived the collision.
Rescue teams’ photographs showed that the minibus was completely destroyed after being crushed beneath the truck’s back end.
The minibus driver and five passengers with impairments were among the victims, according to the Italian news agency “ANSA.”
The accident’s origin is not yet known.
