The home of the Japanese ambassador to Lebanon was hit by a “stray bullet”

Takeshi Okubo stated in Arabic on his verified Twitter account, “For the second time, my flat has been subjected to a stray bullet, most likely from a Kalashnikov type.”
He said, “This time the bullet bounced and landed in the house’s corridor, but nobody was hurt. The state of affairs right now is rather dismal.
The Japanese envoy pleaded with those who were firing into the air to stop so as to prevent “harm or calamity for others.”

The Arabic-speaking Japanese diplomat tweeted three images of the bullet that struck his home.
During celebrations celebrating the outcome of the parliamentary elections in Lebanon, Okubo had previously stated that his house had also been damaged by a stray gunshot.

A “stray gunshot” struck the Japanese envoy to Lebanon’s residence.
