The Saskatoon Police Service reported that it is on the scene of a person besieged inside an apartment building in the 300 block of Pendygrasse Road.
According to police, the incident began at 12:30 am and is still going on.
Traffic is unrestricted, but police are encouraging people to avoid the area out of an abundance of caution.
