Russia uses airborne armored vehicles for paratroopers in its military operation in Ukraine

During the military campaign in Ukraine, the Russian army started utilising the cutting-edge airborne “Typhoon-VDV” system.
Videos of these armoured vehicle columns being moved to the front line have been shared on the Internet.
The first iteration of the “Typhoon-VDV” armoured vehicle was unveiled at the “Army-2017” convention outside of Moscow. After the armoured tests were completed in August, it was confirmed that the Russian Paratroopers Corps had acquired the vehicle.

One of the highlights of the “Typhoon” for paratroopers is that it is outfitted with a 7. 62 mm machine gun and 1,000 rounds of ammunition for 1,000 rounds each of its armor-piercing, high-explosive, and fast-firing 30 mm automatic cannon ammunition.
All of these fireworks were dispersed inside the remote-controlled, unmanned tower equipped with aiming aids, night vision, and a laser rangefinder.

With these tools and weapons, you can roam around and fire day or night against ground and aerial targets.
The 350-horsepower diesel engine ensures an 800-kilometer minimum driving range and a top speed of 100 km/h. At a depth of 150 cm, the armoured vehicle may penetrate through water obstacles.
The armoured vehicle weighed 15,000 kg, and its crew consisted of 4 people.
