Russia summons French ambassador over arms supply to Ukraine

The French ambassador to Moscow, Pierre Levy, was called to account by the Russian Foreign Ministry for Paris’ military-technical assistance to Ukraine.
In a statement quoted by the “Russia Today” channel on Thursday evening, the Russian Foreign Ministry claimed that Moscow had made reference to the dangers posed by the increased shipments of weapons and equipment to the Kyiv regime as well as the intensification of training programmes for the Ukrainian army.

The Russian Foreign Ministry emphasised that special attention was paid to the fact that this stance deviates from the promises made by Parisian officials regarding their desire for a peaceful resolution in Ukraine.
