According to Russian police, a drone exploded at a military airport in Kaluga Oblast, about 200 kilometres southwest of Moscow.
Vladislav Shapcha, the region’s governor, speculated that the drone “may have flown here from abroad” on his Telegram channel.
There were no injuries or property damage as a result of the drone’s explosion. At the airport, the flow of people never stops.
The drone reportedly burst on the runway, according to local media earlier.
