Naguib Sawiris plans to establish 4 hotels in Egypt, with investments of $300 million

Naguib Sawiris, an Egyptian billionaire, stated today, Wednesday, that he intends to build four hotels in Egypt with investments totaling $300 million through his own company, Orascom Financial Holding.
We also intend to build two hotels on the North Coast, one in Cairo, and a fourth near the Pyramids, he continued in remarks made on the fringes of his attendance at a local conference in Cairo on “Empowering the Private Sector.”

Sawiris emphasised that for the Egyptian private sector to develop, it must find solutions to its issues.
“The private sector should enter the sector of moving commodities at ports and railroads,” the speaker concluded.
Sawiris claimed that he is concentrating on making investments in renewable energy in Africa and that he has plans to make investments in the agriculture industry.
