Musk: Recklessness threatens to sabotage the Twitter purchase deal

Elon Musk, a multibillionaire and well-known American businessman, accused Twitter officials of being careless in their response to his acquisition of the social network.
The project owner plans to finalise the deal in accordance with the terms outlined in the agreement dated April 25, 2022, according to a notification Musk’s advisors issued to the social network.

Musk’s lawyers are pushing for the deal to be canceled in Delaware court, scheduled for October 17, in order to raise the necessary funding without hindrance and complete it as early as October 28.
“Surprisingly, Twitter is insisting on continuing this lawsuit, recklessly endangering the deal and putting the interests of their shareholders at risk,” Musk’s lawyers said in a statement carried by CNBC.
