According to Sky News Arabia, Muqtada al-Sadr, the head of the Sadrist movement in Iraq, declared today, Thursday, that all armed factions in the country, with the exception of Salah al-Din, would be put on hold to prevent sedition.
Twenty individuals lost their lives in the skirmishes that followed efforts to breach a security checkpoint leading to the Green Zone in the capital city of Baghdad, while 200 others were hurt, including several Iraqi security officials.
