In a letter of thanks, the International Federation gives Egypt Post the title of “rising star”

The Arab Republic of Egypt has received a letter of thanks and appreciation from Salam Masahiko Mitoki, Director General of the International Bureau of the Universal Postal Union, and Ambassador Wael Gad, Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt to the Swiss Confederation, for Egypt Post’s outstanding performance and the increase in Egypt’s postal development index in accordance with the performance measurements and indicators detailed in the 2022 report, which led to Egypt being named as one of the world’s top postal developing nations.

This occurred while the Universal Postal Union was commemorating World Post Day at its headquarters in Bern, the capital of Switzerland.
For his part, Dr. Sherif Farouk, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Egypt Post, stated that Egypt Post is experiencing a real boom on the local, regional, and global levels, making it an example among postal institutions around the world and reaffirming Egypt’s leadership in the provision of postal services.
