The Director-General of the International Atomic Energy Agency, Rafael Grossi, announced on Friday the completion of the first rotation of the IAEA team at the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant in southern Ukraine.
The agency quoted Grossi on Twitter as saying that the team will continue its “indispensable” mission at the station, explaining that the team will support the nuclear safety and security protection area around the station’s site once this is agreed upon.
The agency then revealed that Grossi will visit Moscow early the next week to go over his idea for creating a protection zone.
