The Egyptian ambassador to Athens, Omar Amer, spoke with Miltiadis Varvestios, the temporary foreign minister of Greece, about getting ready for Nikos Dendias’ trip to Egypt the following week.
On its official Facebook page today, the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that the meeting’s topics included ways to strengthen bilateral ties between Egypt and Greece, particularly with regard to discussions about the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the two nations in the area of taking advantage of Egyptian labour in Greece.
The two parties also spoke about recent regional and global developments.
Next week, the Greek Foreign Minister will visit Egypt.
