Today, on Friday, an airstrike in a community in northern Ethiopia’s Tigray region resulted in the deaths of 5 people and the injuries of 37 more.
A hospital administrator announced on Twitter that his facility had received 5 bodies of those who had died in the airstrike on the Tigray provincial village.
37 people were also hurt in the raid, according to Reuters, which omitted the doctor’s name.
The Ethiopian authorities have not yet made any remarks about the raid.
The International Committee of Human Rights Experts on Ethiopia’s mission to monitor the war in that African nation was also extended by the United Nations Human Rights Council for an additional year, ending in December 2023.
