The Houthi militia, which is backed by Iran, has transformed the Red Sea region into a military zone, according to Yemen’s Foreign Minister Ahmed Awad bin Mubarak, who confirmed this on Wednesday.
In a news conference held at the Yemeni embassy in Rabat, he stated that the government is committed to maintaining the cease-fire and promoting peace, adding, “We have carried out all of our obligations under the cease-fire, and the Houthis refused to open Taiz highways.

Additionally, he emphasised that “the Houthi organisation imposed the war and is carrying out Tehran’s expansionist ambition in the region. ”
Also from him: “We will exercise our constitutional right to defend our nation and people, and we will not allow Iran to take control of Yemen’s oil resources.

“It is in the strategic interest of the world and the region to put an end to the Houthi group’s coup so that Yemen can function as a viable nation within the framework of its Arab and Islamic neighbours,” he continued.
He asserted that the Houthi militia has a genuine desire in continuing the conflict and noted that it has given rise to hate speech throughout the nation.
He continued, “We are betting on the Yemenis’ determination to bring down the Iranian project with all of its disasters.
