Donald Trump, a former US president, claims that, in contrast to earlier presidents, he was persecuted.
In his speech on Wednesday, Trump denied any wrongdoing and said that “they are targeting me in an effort to silence me.”
On the other hand, Trump denounced the Federal Bureau of Investigation “FBI” inspection of his Florida home that was carried out in August.
But Trump mockingly remarked that this inquiry had given him a lot of free exposure for his $5 billion resort.
According to reports, Trump is involved in a contentious legal dispute with the Department of Justice over the FBI’s discovery of dozens of classified documents during a search of his Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida. This discovery has raised concerns that Trump may have broken federal laws relating to the preservation of presidential records.
Trump admits that he received $5 billion in free advertising as a result of the FBI probe into him.
