The Petersburg International Economic Forum will take place the following year from June 14 to June 17, 2023. The UAE will attend as a special guest, which makes the economic event noteworthy.
The Executive Secretary of the Organizing Committee of the Petersburg International Economic Forum, Anton Kobyakov, was quoted by the Roscongress Foundation as saying: “The Forum will be held from June 14 to June 17, 2023, and is one of the largest and most significant commercial events in the world.
The Forum offers a unified and equal platform for all economic actors around the world, particularly at a time when the world economy is in disarray due to changes in international economic connections, rising social inequality, and erratic trade.
The United Arab Emirates’ participation in the event as a guest of honour in 2023, following Egypt’s and Qatar’s participation in this capacity in the Forum’s 2022 and 2021 editions, is noteworthy.
As 691 agreements were inked in 2022, the forum saw the completion of transactions and contracts worth around 5. 6 trillion rubles ($105 billion).
