The Kremlin: There is a very close interaction with Belarus in the Ukraine operation

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov confirmed today, Tuesday, that Minsk is an ally and partner of Moscow, commenting on Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko’s statement that his country is participating in the Russian special military operation in Ukraine.
“Belarus is our ally and partner, and together we have the Union State.

When asked if Minsk took part in the special military operation in Ukraine, Peskov responded, “Of course, there is a very tight connection inside this Union State and within the framework of Allied relations. The Russian “TASS” news agency broke the story.

Belarus is taking part in the Russian special military operation in Ukraine, according to Lukashenko, who also noted that Minsk’s role was to rule out an attack on Belarus and stop the conflict from extending to its territory. Belarus is not sending military forces, however.

It is important to note that on February 24, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced the start of a military operation against targets in Ukraine to defend the people of the Donbass region. This announcement led many Western nations, including the United States, to impose severe economic sanctions against Russia.

The Kremlin: Belarus and the Ukraine operation interact extremely closely.
