The Iraqi Media and Communications Commission stated that it respects everyone equally and promotes press and expression freedom across the country.
In a statement reported by the Iraqi “Alsumaria News” station, the commission urged all citizens, parties, and currents to deal with any breaches that may be published by the media in line with legal frameworks.
If any licenced media institution broke the rules of professional behaviour and media transmission, the authority required recourse to it or to the judiciary in order to register formal complaints.
The Iraqi Media and Communications Commission affirms the nation’s commitment to promoting freedom of expression.
