The Emir of Qatar signs an economic cooperation agreement with the Czech President

At a meeting conducted in Prague Castle today, Wednesday, the Emir of Qatar, Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, and the president of the Czech Republic, Milos Zeman, signed an agreement on economic cooperation.
During a news conference, the Emir of Qatar announced that his nation would soon establish an embassy in the Czech Republic. He will visit Prime Minister Peter Fiala at his official residence later on Wednesday.

Till Thursday, when the city will host an unofficial summit of European nations, Tamim bin Hamad will stay in the capital of the Czech Republic.
President Milos Zeman of the Czech Republic attended the ceremonial welcome ceremony for the Emir of Qatar at the presidential residence in Prague Castle.

The national anthems of Qatar and the Czech Republic were played to start the ceremony. Sheikh Tamim then marched the guard of honour before shaking hands with prominent Czech officials and delegation members.
