As a result of the girl, Mahsa Amini, passing away while in police custody, there were a number of protests in Iran, according to the authorities.
Mahsa Amini, 22, died after going into a coma after being detained by morality police in Tehran last week. Her detention provoked protests in Tehran, the late girl’s native Kurdistan Region, and other places.
