North Korea launches two short-range ballistic missiles from Pyongyang

The South Korean military reported that North Korea launched two short-range ballistic missiles on Thursday toward the East Sea, one day after the redeployment of a US nuclear-powered aircraft carrier in the area.
The two launches were allegedly launched from Pyongyang’s Samsok neighbourhood between 0601 and 0623 local time, according to the Joint Chiefs of Staff. No other information was offered.
Exactly two days prior to the launches, North Korea fired a medium-range ballistic missile over Japan.
