North Korea is silent about the launch of a ballistic missile over Japan

Regarding Tuesday’s firing of a medium-range ballistic missile over Japan, North Korean media stayed silent.
According to the report, the launch, which took place on Tuesday morning, has not yet been covered by the primary North Korean media outlets, including the Korean Central News Agency, Korean Central Television, and the Rodong Sinmun, the official newspaper of the ruling Workers’ Party. The North Korean media has abstained from discussing any tests since last May, and the blackout continues with the most recent launch. North Korean media typically offers accompanying photo coverage of its successful missile launches the following day.
The missile, which was fired from Mopyeong-ri in Chagang Province on Tuesday and was the first medium-range ballistic missile fired by the communist government since January 30, travelled roughly 4,500 kilometres and passed over Japan before crashing into the Pacific Ocean.

Kim Jong Un, the leader of North Korea, hasn’t been spotted in public for the past 25 days; the last time we heard about him was on September 9.
