More mass graves discovered in eastern Ukraine

More than 50 citizens’ bones were discovered in graves, according to Ukrainian media, in the town of Liman after Ukrainian forces recently seized it.
The Ukrainian web TV channel Hromadsky said that “the Russians dug trenches and ordered locals who suspected their involvement with the Ukrainian army to gather the bodies of the dead for reburial,” and the programme aired images of the graves.
According to reports, some of the victims passed away as a result of the town being bombed.

Lyman was captured by pro-Moscow forces in May of last year after intense bombardment, and Ukrainian forces retook it in early October after more intense bombing.
Other tombstones merely had numbers on them, while others of the deceased had names discovered.

East Ukraine has seen the discovery of more mass graves.
