The Greek coast guard reported that after a boat carrying approximately 40 migrants sank east of the island of Lesbos, at least 15 bodies have been discovered.
On Thursday morning, the “Factal News” news website cited local media as saying that the rescue effort was ongoing despite the terrible weather.
The website omitted information regarding the migrants’ nationalities.
