A draw dominates the history of Chelsea and AC Milan in the Champions League

The third round of Group E of the Champions League for the current season 2022-2023 will begin at nine o’clock this evening, Wednesday, at “Stamford Bridge,” with the English team Chelsea hosting its Italian counterpart AC Milan.
The tie has dominated the teams’ previous meetings, with Chelsea and Milan meeting five times. In those five meetings, both teams won one game, each shaking the other’s goal five times, and the tie was finally settled in three of those games.

Milan is in first place in the Group E rankings for the 2022–23 Champions League season with four points, one point ahead of Dinamo Zagreb. Salzburg is in second place with two points, and Chelsea is last with one point.

After their dismal showings in the first and second rounds of the continental tournament, the Blues are hoping to win and bounce back in the race to qualify for the next round of the Champions League for the current season.
The Italian squad wants to win today’s game in order to extend its lead in the group standings and go to the Champions League round of 16.

Chelsea wants to win and pick up three crucial points so that they can go back on the winning track and compete for the championship this year.
The Italian team participated in the group two matches, winning once against Dinamo Zagreb 3-1 in the second round of the group stage, and drawing once with Salzburg of Austria (1-1).

Chelsea, on the other hand, started out its group stage campaign with a loss to Dinamo Zagreb, but was able to salvage a point against Austrian Salzburg in the second round of the group stage.

The Champions League record between Chelsea and AC Milan has been dominated by draws.
