Magda Assem, a prominent figure in Egyptian media who was one of the country’s most well-known TV hosts and presenters of children’s shows in the 1980s and 1990s, has suddenly.
Tuesday morning, the anchor’s sister made the announcement of her passing; the funeral will take place in the afternoon.

The late presenter was well-known for hosting children’s shows on Egyptian television; she continued doing so till she was retired. She hosted the “Memories and Stories” programme on Channel Two.
The 1990 film “The Night of Honey,” starring Ezzat Al-Alayli, Suheir Al-Babli, Samah Anwar, and Khaled Al-Nabawi, was the only one in which the late presenter took part.

She had a single son from her first marriage, the late artist Amr Samir, and she later married the artist Karam Mutawa.
Magda Assem passed away around five years after her son, the talented young artist Amr Samir, passed away unexpectedly while studying abroad in Spain.
When he was discovered dead in his hotel room in Spain while on vacation there, the Egyptian artist, 33 at the time, was pained by the news that he had left the Egyptians.

Amr Samir died suddenly on his bed in his hotel room due to a dramatic decline in blood circulation, after working out in the gym without consuming any nourishing foods or sugary beverages, according to forensic medicine in Spain at the time.
He added that after putting in such a big effort just hours before going to sleep, the late experienced a fast decrease that unexpectedly impacted his heart and caused his death.
