Tariq Al-Mulla: We are keen to increase Kuwait’s investments in the oil and gas sector

The Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, Eng. El-Mulla, reaffirmed Egypt’s desire to broaden the scope of its investment collaboration with Kuwait, a sister state, in the gas sector’s many operations, including research, production, refining, and distribution. Given that it is a significant hub for the petrochemical sector, it is one of the more ambitious projects in this area.

It happened at a meeting of the Egyptian-Kuwaiti Cooperation Council, where Dr. Mamdouh Al-Arabi Al-Arabi spoke on behalf of Eng. Ibrahim Al-Arabi, head of the Egyptian side, and Ambassador Ghanem Ghanem Saqr Al-Kuwait in Cairo. The delegation from Kuwait visiting Egypt was led by Mr. Muhammad Jassim Al-Saqer, Chairman of Kuwait Commerce and Industry, and Chairman of the Council.

He greeted the Kuwaiti economic delegation at the conference and emphasised that their visit was a testament to the close ties that exist between the two fraternal nations and the distinguished political relationships that exist in both.

Numerous initiatives and investments have been made in various fields to promote integration and mutual gain, particularly in the energy sector. Egypt has strengthened its partnership ties with Kuwait in the oil and gas industry, and its agreements with the Kuwait Oil Corporation, as well as its partnerships and investment partnerships with Kuwait, have helped to create a favourable environment for future investments.

He stated that the state was interested in creating a favourable investment climate and overcoming investments since the economy that had adopted it had recently seen success in this area thanks to the development of legislative, financial, and financial procedures that serve as cornerstones.
