Indian fighter jets on alert after threat to detonate a bomb in an Iranian plane

News from Al-Madina: After learning that a bomb threat had been made against an Iranian airline flight, the Indian Air Force announced on Monday that it had temporarily dispatched combat aircraft.
The Indian Air Force then claimed in a statement that it had learned from Tehran that the issue had been disregarded and that the aeroplane had continued on its course.

The Iranian plane’s pilot was reportedly offered by Delhi to land in India as a precaution but declined, continuing on to the city of Guangzhou, according to Indian media reports.
Before the plane left Indian airspace and entered Chinese airspace, the fighters monitored it from a safe distance, she said.
As soon as it was known that there was a bomb on board the Iranian jet, the Indian authorities immediately put Delhi airport on notice.
