Erling Haaland increased his tally to 14 goals in eight league games, which is double what his nearest opponent, Tottenham Hotspur player Harry Kane, achieved in the competition.
The Norwegian set a new record in the Premier League by scoring three hat-tricks in as few as eight games, breaking Michael Owen’s previous mark of 48 games set while playing for Liverpool.

The best scorer in the Spanish League last season and striker for Barcelona, Robert Lewandowski, a Pole, is currently in seventh place with 18 points from 9 goals.

French The best scorer in the French League is Kylian Mbappe of Paris Saint-Germain, who is tied for 14th with Brazilian Neymar Da Silva after 16 points from 8 goals.
