Bayern Munich defeated Czech team Viktoria Plzen 5-0 on Tuesday to keep its spotless record in the Champions League intact. Bayern Munich scored three goals in the opening 21 minutes.
The opening goal was scored by German winger Sani in the seventh minute, followed by goals from Serge Gnabry in the lower right corner in the 13th minute and Sadio Mane with a low effort in the 21st minute after he had evaded numerous defenders.
In the 50th minute, Bayern’s great Sani netted his second goal, and nine minutes later, substitute Eric Maxime Choupo-Moting netted the team’s fifth goal.
The outcome of the Inter Milan-Barcelona match, which will be played later, will not have an impact on Bayern, the five-time European champion, as each team has three points from a win over Victoria Plzen, who is at the bottom of the standings with a white score of points.
