Iranian government officials released images of the Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei taking part in the graduation ceremony for pupils at the Iranian Armed Forces Officers Schools.
The university is situated in the heavily guarded Shetkhar district, west of Tehran.

The Imam Hassan Mujtaba University for Officers and Police Training hosted the joint graduation ceremonies for cadets from the universities of officers connected to the armed forces this morning, Monday.
The ceremony, which took place in the midst of security tensions in Iran and following news of Ali Khamenei’s health worsening, was not shown live on television.
It is notable that news stories concerning his failing health have been circulating in the media lately.

Additionally, with news of Khamenei’s failing health, images and videos of him in his 40s were released last month. According to the New York Times, which cited four unidentified persons familiar with his health for the information, Khamenei is currently recuperating in bed after having surgery for an intestinal obstruction sometime last week.
The fact that Khamenei has been Iran’s supreme leader for the past three decades makes him one of the Middle East’s longest-serving leaders.

Although it is still unknown who will succeed the leader, it is anticipated that the Assembly of Experts will convene in the case of his passing to discuss a replacement.
According to the Iranian Human Rights Organization, more than 133 people have died as a result of the demonstrations against Mahsa Amini’s murder.
The group pointed specifically to 42 victims whose deaths were recorded by the “Baloch Activists Campaign” for human rights, and also named and documented 92 deaths that occurred throughout the nation.

The group announced that there were more than 133 fatalities in all.
Following the killing of the Kurdish girl Mahsa Amini by the morality police, protests for women’s rights, life, and freedom have continued in Iran, putting the regime in a serious bind and posing significant political, security, and economic difficulties that could take it in an unexpected direction.
