Yusuf Ahmed Hajer, the deputy state of Hirshabelle in Somalia, said on Sunday that the ongoing military operation in the governorate had been successful in confining terrorist activity and defeating it in the governorate’s affiliated territories.
According to the Somali News Agency, Hajar lauded the military operations that freed fresh territories from the “Al-Shabab” rebel force, promising to support the Somali Somali and the local populace in their fight against terrorism.
The actions carried out over the last few days resulted in the targeting of Al-Shabaab militia members, their seclusion, and their capitulation to Somalia.
